One of 13 mausoleums of the Ming emperors preserved outside of Beijing. Built during the seventh year of the Ming dynasty (1409).

Main Sacred Way of Ming Tombs. This walkway is lined with many 600-year-old statues, each one carved from a single piece of marble. I experienced an unexpected serenity while walking down this ancient path.
