We spent a few days in Moscow before setting sail.  Our first view of the Kremlin and Red Square occurred just as a cloudy forecast transformed itself into a bright, crisp autumn day.  Russian just married couples assume a long-standing tradition of hanging padlocks on bridges and throwing the keys into the river as a symbol of their future long and stable married life.  The wedding scene was right across the Moscow river from the Kremlin. After Moscow we cast off for Uglich.  (Click on thumbnail images below to enlarge.)
